Boca Grande’s beaches are ideal for those seeking a more basic Florida beach experience. Boca Grande is located on Gasparilla Island, FL north of Sanibel Island, and comprises of 14 Gulf of Mexico beach spots and 11 bayside areas. Although not all beach locations have swimming access, they all provide beautifully isolated views.
Boca Grande is a gem of a beach among a chain of barrier islands along the Gulf Coast. Known for its tarpon fishing is pleasant and laid back. It is a haven for anglers and families alike. Bonus: If you go to the south end of the island, you’ll find more than a dozen walking routes that connect Gulf Blvd to the beach.
