Asbury Park Beach & Boardwalk

Asbury Park, New Jersey’s boardwalk is a cultural hub that offers a range of restaurants, stores, and activities (Don’t forget about live events and music).

  • Food: The boardwalk features numerous restaurants, including those serving Korean fusion tacos, oysters, sausages, ice cream, and Italian ice. We prefer The Speakeatery for burgers, MOGO for Korean tacos, and Langosta Lounge for seafood.
  • Shops: Asbury Park Boardwalk has a surf and swimwear shop, handcrafted and organic goods, and vintage-inspired gifts. The north end of the boardwalk has the Grand Arcade.
  • Activities: Featuring the Silver Ball Museum Arcade with classic pinball games, Asbury Eighteen for mini-golf, and Asbury Splash Park for kids.

How To Get To The Boardwalk

The boardwalk is located north of the beach. To get there from the north, you can take the New Jersey Turnpike south to Exit 11, then the Garden State Parkway to Exit 102, and follow the signs to Asbury Park. Once you reach the ocean, turn left onto Ocean Ave., and the boardwalk will be on your right.

The Seaside Town of Asbury Park

On the shore of New Jersey sits the little city of Asbury Park. Its sandy beach and promenade, which is dotted with stores, arcades, and cafes, are what made it famous. Live music venues in the city include the 1920s Paramount Theatre and the Stone Pony, which has played host to New Jersey natives Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi. Arcade, pinball, and video games at the Silverball Museum span the 1930s to the present day.
